My family recently stayed at the lodge near St Austell and Polperro, and we had a mixed experience. Despite a cold arrival, the lodge was decorated nicely, and we enjoyed the outdoor balcony and comfortable twin beds. the shower had good pressure, and the quality towels were a nice touch. During our stay, we took advantage of the hiking trails nearby. My son particularly enjoyed exploring the scenic routes, while my mom and I preferred a leisurely round of golf at a nearby course. the lodge's family-friendly amenities, such as the packs of cards and ping pong bats, kept us entertained when we were not out exploring. Although there were some cleanliness issues, such as dog poo on the veranda and mildew on the single bed sheets, the lovely shower made up for it. It was a decent stay for a good price during this time of year.
